Into the Woods

The Story

Set within a heavily wooded site, this home uses the surrounding forest as a quiet backdrop to a more Contemporary architectural approach. Porcelain tile moves from the exterior to the interior, creating a strong sense of continuity, while soaring ceilings, hand-scraped wood floors and richly veined soapstone introduce texture and depth. Designed by Secter Architecture & Design, the home balances clean architectural lines with materials that feel tactile and grounded, allowing the design to feel refined without losing its connection to the character of the site.
