Rocky Timber

The Story

Designed to support multigenerational cottage living, Rocky Timber balances a generous overall scale with a more intimate interior. The timber frame is used to define the larger volumes, bringing structure and proportion to spaces intended for both collective gathering and quieter retreat. A layered approach to the plan allows the cottage to accommodate several families at once, making it equally suited to a full house or a slower weekend at the lake.
