Driftwood Landing

The Story

Inspired by the familiar presence of a lighthouse, Driftwood Landing uses height and transparency to create a strong connection to the water. Windows on all four sides of the upper-level seating room captures expansive views, while glass railings preserve an openness around the perimeter. Storage and utility are contained below, allowing the upper level to remain focused on the experience of the lake. A wraparound deck connects with the long dock, extending the usable shoreline and reinforcing the boathouse as a destination at the water’s edge.
